How we protect the result
The lab does not manufacture, sell or design the products it tests. Staff have no commercial incentive tied to a pass. Risks to impartiality are identified, recorded and reviewed by management as part of the ISO/IEC 17025 system.
Complaints and appeals against a result are handled by a person not involved in the original test, and the outcome is communicated in writing.
